Welcome to my sixth post on the 7 Skills Needed To Lead Today’s Workforce.  Effective communication in leadership is critical. Leaders need the ability to communicate effectively in new and innovative ways to address today’s complex challenges. In a fast paced work environment where attention spans are short and people are overloaded with multi-tasking, communication must be crafted to be concise and clear to ensure that key points and direction are not lost in a sea of information.

To build trust and foster productivity, leaders must focus on developing their own skills in reading emotions, understanding context, and fostering genuine connections with those they lead.

• Adds value and vision to achieve organizational goals
